Re-branding for "Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli" in Naples, Italy. Concept and visual design for a new strong branding based on the University’s main core values: Education / Open / Personal. The goal is to have a simple and a clear visual approach. The mark includes the letter “U” from University and the “V” from Vanvitelli. Furthermore, the sign can be seen as an open book (v) being read by you (u). The simple and transparent idea behind the logo is backed by elementary geometric shapes and grid, on which the whole identity is based. This simplicity and structure gives a solid and timeless connotation to the whole new identity for the Vanvitelli University.

Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli decided to rebrand its Institution design. Therefore, it has decided to launch an international call for ideas to produce the graphic design of the mark and/or logotype and related visual identity system.
